They have a 4-day early voting period where they do ranked-choice voting. There is a heavy reliance on tourism and the casino industry, and it waxes and wanes seasonally. Because pollsters have to staff people to conduct fieldwork over a 24-hour period rather than just the evenings and keep updating phone records and developing new models.
